Behind the Numbers
We're the team that believes financial markets tell stories — and we've spent fifteen years learning how to read them properly.
How We Started Reading Market Stories
Back in 2010, our founder was working late nights as a junior analyst at a Sydney investment firm. The senior partners would make these confident calls about stock picks, but when pressed for details, their explanations felt hollow. "Trust the gut," they'd say, or point to some technical indicator that looked impressive on charts.
That disconnect bothered us. Markets aren't magic — they're businesses run by people, selling products to customers, managing costs and revenues. Every stock price reflects a company's fundamental reality, even when that relationship gets temporarily obscured by noise.
So we started praxivelona in 2011 with a simple mission: teach people to understand businesses before they invest in them. No shortcuts, no magic formulas. Just solid analytical frameworks that help you see through market hype to actual value.
Financial Statement Analysis
We teach you to dissect income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements like a forensic accountant. Numbers don't lie, but they don't always tell the whole truth without proper context.
Industry Research Methods
Understanding a company means understanding its competitive landscape. We show you how to research market dynamics, regulatory changes, and competitive advantages that actually matter.
Valuation Techniques
From DCF models to relative valuation, we cover the mathematical frameworks that help you estimate what a business is actually worth — and when market prices make sense.
The People Behind Your Learning
Our core team brings together decades of experience from investment banking, equity research, and corporate finance. But more importantly, we know how to explain complex concepts in ways that actually stick.
Astrid Lindquist
Senior Financial Analyst
Former equity researcher at Macquarie, Astrid spent eight years covering ASX healthcare and technology stocks. She has this knack for spotting accounting irregularities that others miss — and explaining why they matter in plain English.
Dimitri Kostovich
Investment Research Director
Dimitri built financial models for private equity firms before joining us in 2018. His specialty is turning complex valuation concepts into practical frameworks that work in real markets, not just textbook examples.
